Tesla Model 3 will be launched in India



Tesla has unveiled its much awaited Model 3 electric car, its lowest-cost vehicle till date. The latest breaking news for all the car lovers is that Tesla latest model 3 will be launched in India too. Elon Musk, entrepreneur had made this announcement via twitter. He tweeted, “Adding several more countries to Model 3 order page tonight. Check for details, but will include India, Brazil, SA, SK, Singapore and Ireland.” There’s no clear date for when the vehicle will be available in new markets.

Telsa Model 3 is a electric car and has created a buzz across the world as it is cheapest Tesla car priced at $35,000 approximately Rs 23 lakh. The car once charged will run for almost 320 kms and can reach a speed of 60 miles/hour within 6 seconds. Telsa will have ‘autopilot’ safety feature that will allow the cars to steer automatically and avoid accidents. The vehicle also provides storage room at the front and rear. The company’s first three models were the innovative Roadster sports car, exquisite Model S sedan, and tech-slinging Model X SUV.


Bookings for Tesla Model 3 are in full swing. In the Model 3’s first 24 hours on the market, Tesla recorded more the 115,000 pre-orders. Tesla has started to take orders for the car an hour before its press event. Hundreds of people were queued outside Tesla stores in the US to get first Model 3. They had to pay $1000 deposit to reserve the car even before it was unveiled.


Tesla had recently in a blog post mentioned that, once the car is ready, it would begin fulfilling orders in the U.S. first, before moving on to Europe and other regions. The car is projected to go on sale at the end of 2017 for a per-incentive base price of $35,000.


According to analysts, the car will give a tough competition but it may not be a game changer for the electric-car market.
