MIMChief Owaisi and his brother Akbaruddin Owaisi are known for controversial
statements that lead to communal tension. Few days back, Asaduddin Owaisi had
been to Maharashtra and said that he would never say ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ even
when a knife is placed. Later his party MLA Waris Pathan was suspended as he
refused to say ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. He faced opposition from Muslims for his
divisive politics. Now we are witnessing flexis with Owaisi brothers and his
party with captions like ‘I love my India’ and ‘Hindustan Zindabad’. Does this
mean that Owaisi is in defensive or damage control mode?
